I study how culture shapes how people think and behave–
and where culture comes from to begin with.

I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Toulouse, housed in the Toulouse School of Economics. Before joining TSE, I served as a Lecturer in Department of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University, where I was affiliated with the Culture, Cognition, and Coevolution Lab. I completed my PhD with Joseph Henrich at Harvard University, and my BA in Neuroscience at Middlebury College.
